About Me
Nancy is a product designer in Hoboken, New Jersey. She works quietly and imaginatively at her desk and desktop designing home products—dishes and the like.
She started to learn and dance the Argentine tango as a way to:
Get out of her chair, avoid seeing the books lying around that are started and not finished, learn something new and vibrant, wear heels. Laugh.
I write about my steps, missed steps and missteps, and other adventures on and off the dance floor.

I have just spent the past hour discovering & reading your blogs.. And that’s enough for now.. I will return
BUT…. Do do the book.. You write seriously well.. And yes I have read the tango book by the Bulgarian Kiwi tanguera with the impossible name.. You do it as well and are really worthy of going beyond the blog setting

Thank you for your very kind words of encouragement. I’ve been thinking about publishing the collection of essays, but thought I should to continue on the tango journey before that time. And the same for book form…which I find utterly daunting! As you can tell, I’ve been having a really good time writing as well as dancing.

Nancy,
Wonderful description of your life with Tingri as she has aged. I’ve had that experience several times in my life and it is so hard to deal with. But that is what you have to expect when you have a dog. But the positives so outweigh the negative side. It is always worth it.
Rhona, thank you so much. Yes, the positives won out. I loved my little girl and she made my life richer and funnier. Here’s to our Tibetan terriers that have made/make us better. I will be the person to another shaggy being one day.
Hi. I love your writing. It is way too good for a blog. Girl, you gotta to publish this stuff for real.
I am starting my own journey writing about tango. I hope my stuff is as good as yours. 🙂
Anyway, I live in NY too. Maybe I will see you sometime at a milonga.
Dave
Dave, thank you so much. I am considering getting it published elsewhere. If you’ve got any ideas or suggestions do tell. It seems like if you write what you see regarding tango, you can’t fail! I wish you the best and look forward to reading what you have to tell. I’m at Triangulo on Tuesdays–usually.
